I still do it old school with my face rituals. I open my pores with a warm washcloth, then rub on Noxema all over face and neck and let sit for a few minutes. I also use this time to shave off what ever stray hair that has decided to grow on my face. Then using a warm, wet cloth, cleanse off all the noxema and then use a cotton square with witch hazel for the oily areas. Finish off with a light application of oil of olay on my cheeks, around my eyes and my neck. It's light and doesn't make my skin break out. My face is combination forehead, nose and chin are oily and the rest is normal to dry.
I arch my brows with either Neet or Nair cream on a cotton swab. I'm too chicken to pluck or wax. Plus, I've been doing it so long it only takes about 5 minutes. Afterwards, I wash my face and use a moisturizer under my brows.
I'm bored, it's 12:00 a.m. and I just felt like writing something.
I have not done it in a looong time, but I thought I was the only one who did the Neet/Nair eyebrow arch. lol
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone! Ha!
ReplyDeleteah ha!!! you just let me in on a great secret! i never even thought of using nair for the brows! i tried plucking three times. it hurt like the devil!!! definately not for me. and i'm scared of getting ingrown hairs from shaving. so i leave my brows au natural. but i may just have to give this method a try!!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter plucked a few of my brows for me the other day, first time for me ever. But I can't get them done when i want so I stick to my nair on a cotton swab. Be sure to get the cream not the lotion.
