Nothing special just an old Sally's comb with some teeth missing. This old raggedy thing is the best for undoing a loc. The thick point on the end of the comb really works into the loc and easily pulls it loose. I've used nails, plastic tooth picks, soaking with conditioner and combing it out and now this is all I use. I don't even wet my hair to loosen, just use the comb.
